1. ARTISTIC PROFILE OF YOU AND/OR GROUP FOR MC ON STAGE

Artistic profile shall be one paragraph text of no more than 100 words.  The paragraph of maximum of 3 lines per language shall be sent in Spanish and English.   At least you must send it in one of the two languages (English or Spanish version) before April 30, 2024

2. PERFORMER(S) CHANGING ROOMS AREAS FOR PERFORMERS

2.1 Changing rooms areas are strictly for the use of the performer(s) only and crew.

2.2 You will be notified in advance for the assigned changing room facilitator(s) who you will need to ask for upon arrival.

2.3 Your changing room facilitator volunteer will direct you to your changing room number assigned to you and your group

.2.4 As soon as you register, a volunteer must be call to direct the artist to his room and then direct you into the stage area 15 minutes before your show at the stage.  Perform ers needs to be available for photography and interviews 1 hour before their show if possible or 1 hour after the event.

 2.5 The changing room areas and hallways are permitted to be use by performers from GTA area for a maximum of 3 hours unless you need more time or are a performer coming from outside the GTA Area. Please inform us in advance if you need more time to coordinate with your changing room facilitator(s) for approval. No guests allowed to be in the changing rooms or hallways at all times unless advance approval has been obtained before May 15, 2024.  Average time, performer(s) shall include approximate time of usage, each artist usually need 2 hours before going on stage, then they go back to change and leave.  

 2.6 No guests or members of the public allowed in the changing room areas or hallways for respect to all performers participating in our event.

2.7 No volunteers, staff and coordinators of Casa Cultural Peruana who have not been authorized to work on the performer(s) changing room area is permitted to enter these restricted areas allowed for performer(s) . Neither volunteer, staff and coordinators are allowed to stay or invite any member of the public or bring guests into the sensitive areas where artists are changing, resting, or rehearsing out of respect for the performer(s) and/or artists who have been assigned these private spaces to prepare before their show. In addition, unauthorized volunteer, staff, guests or members of the public are not allowed to remain in the hallways.

2.8 No photos or videos with performer(s) are allowed in the performer(s) changing room areas or hallways as it is a private space assigned to performer(s) and authorized personnel only.

2.9 Please approach an authorized staff, volunteer or security to report any unauthorized individual in strict areas for your safety.

3. SOUND PRODUCTION

3.1 BEFORE THE EVENT

Please send us the name of song(s) you are singing live and/or music tracks before April 30, 2024.

Are you performing with your own original music? 

If your answer is yes, please send us your technical requirements before April 30, 2024. This applies to live singers and live bands.

 If your answer is no, then it means you are planning on singing a cover song or performing with someone else music, please let us know well in advance by writing via email with the following information:

the name of the song writer or original singer and any additional information that it is associated with copyright information associated with the music you are playing or performing in order to obtain the necessary licensing and permits for your presentation on your behalf. 
If you are a cover song singer, you shall send us your musical tracks before May 15, 2024. No song(s) playbacks allowed; meaning you are not allowed to sing on top of the song because this causes audio technical issues on the quality of the show.

 I you are a dance groups, you shall also send your music songs well in advance before May 15, 2024.. 

3.2 DURING THE LIVE  IN PERSON EVENT

FOR LIVE IN PERSON SHOWS, you shall be ready to play 15-25 min long.

You shall have a trusted person to work together with the Stage Coordinator Assistant to guide the sound person for the soundtracks to play in the order agreed in advance before the event with the event coordinator.  No last-minute changes will be permitted during the event as this will cause serious problems with the production programming and cause delays with the next performer and City of Toronto officials for not following approved programming

Your art and comments shared during our events shall be respectful, no obscene words, insults or stereotyping material or comments are allowed in the stage or in any part of the event(s) of Casa Cultrual Peruana and the City of Toronto facilities.

Take note that it is important that the masters of ceremonies at the event are respectful and monitor any guests who are disrespectful and moderate the entries of people of obscene words, insults are not allowed in our virtual or physical activities of Casa Cultural Peruana and its programs.

5. ABOUT YOUR PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL TO BE USE BEFORE, DURING AND AFTER THE EVENT.
Any logos, business cards, artistic profile, artistic photo that you consent us to use to promote you before the event shall be submitted  via email or via  https://wetransfer.com/  at cmpfmusic@casaculturalperuana.com   before April 30, 2024. We will include your promotional material in our event website for one year, social media, printing and digital media.

You have the opportunity to include your business cards in our community table with no cost to you.  If you are interested in selling products or services during the event and require a table or booth space, please contact us asap at casaculturalperuana@outlook.com

5.1 IMPORTANT NOTICE: Take note that due to the restrictions of the City of Toronto, it is not allowed to promote any group, business or invite those who are participating or walking to sell any type of product or service or deliver business cards or any promotion without the written consent of Casa Cultural Peruana and City of Toronto. Unless you are an authorized vendor assigned a vendor area for that purpose. That is why all groups are being given the opportunity to present their business cards or promotional material to be placed in a designated area by CasaCultural Peruana and the City of Toronto previously approved and mutually consented by both parties.


6. MEDIA COVERAGE ABOUT THE EVENT
We encourage all performers to be available for media press release and live interviews before and during the event. Please let us know your availability for press release, live interviews, etc.

You are encouraged to do One (1) live interview of 10-15 minutes about you and your group celebrating with us in our CMPF from the comfort of your home via zoom broadcasted live in our PODCAST VOCES DEL PERU of Casa Cultural Peruana.

We will promote your art work by providing a 30 sec prom video of you or group before and during the event in our Podcast Voces del Peru of Casa Cultural Peruana.

We will notify all performers in advance to confirm their availability for media coverage before the event.

Please ask in advance for the designated areas during the event for media coverage and live interviews.

7. PERUVIAN FOLK PERFORMERS ARE INVITED TO BE PART OF THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY BY PRESENTING BETWEEN 3-8 MEMBERS READY IN THEIR FOLK CUSTOME TO BE PART OF THE OFFICIAL CEREMONY.

The programming will include the groups participating during the official ceremony, if you confirm before April 30, 2024

Note that Casa Cultural Peruana will notified you in advance if we have exceeded the maximum capacity of people allowed on stage. Or adjust the number of people authorize to go on stage during the official ceremony..

8. LET’S DANCE PROGRAM

You are welcome to be part of the Let’s Dance program by registering in advance for one (1) hour of free class presentation during the event. Please confirm before april 30, 2024

9. CALL FOR PHOTOS

Do you have photographs or videos from previous events presented by CASA CULTURAL PERUANA?  We would love to showcase them on our websites www.peruviantown.com or www.casaculturalperuana.com and social media! Please send in your photo/video submissions, along with the name of your group, name of the event, year, and photographer name/credits to:
