The GTA lays claim to more than 20,000 residents of Peruvian ancestry, Peru echoes of a glorious history, rich heritage and unique sights draws visitors to Peru around the world.
This Latin American country has been named as “The World’s leading Culinary Destination”.
At the Festival, visitors have the opportunity to experience being ‘Peruvian for the Day’, but the Festival is much more than the celebration of the Canadian Peruvian’s heritage — it is also a celebration of Canada’s multiculturalism. We have diversity of Latin American dishes at the heart of Toronto so that our audience can enjoy tasty multi-ethnic dishes.

Celebrate Peruvian Heritage in Canada as well as establishing concrete opportunities for positive interaction among cultural, religious and/or ethnic communities of multicultural heritage fostering pride in our community’s history, culture and identity in Canada grounds.
Yes, there is Food, Food, and more Food – but the Canadian Multicultural Peruvian Town Fest is so much more! There will be loads of free, family-friendly entertainment on our Celebrity Stage presented by “We are Canadian Peruvians” and the “Peruvian Town” at the heart of Toronto. The Choliwood Celebrity Stage will feature everything from Peruvian, Latin American and Multicultural folk, from Pop to Salsa, merengue and much more. CANADIAN LATIN FEST is an event that Celebrates Canada Multiculturalism Day, the rich diversity and heritage of Latin American in Canada. At the festival, people have the opportunity to experience being “Canadian Latin American for the Day”, but the festival is much more that the celebration of the Canadian Latin American heritage — it is also a celebration of Canada’s multiculturalism.      Latin American food vendors as well as Folk and Arts crafts, kids zone area .
